Finished the dress in about 9 days, including a petticoat and the garibaldi blouse, the crinoline I made previously.
The print is too busy to be historically accurate for the 1860's, but I fell in love with this pretty superfine cotton lawn, it's not meant for any re-enacting events.
Inspired by extant garments of the period I made open pagoda sleeves and a pointed bodice.
